Jojo O'Connor you might catch her with either a pencil or some tweezers in her hand because she's a great student in and an amazing New Orleans eyelash tech so today in this my NOLA my story we're gonna get a glimpse of Jojo O'Conner. I'm Jojo I became a certified lash technician at the end of July I made some money over the summer and I thought what can I do and continue to make money and I know eye lashing is a big industry in New Orleans and with people my age so that's why I started lashing I would say it is mainly time management and we're all in college so we're considerate of each other's time they tell me right at least a week ahead of time I could schedule a it's not even scheduled in my planner like this time we're understood in this time plan you know get ready for the person to come and I'm going to set them you know when I'm getting ready or if I can't make him it's all by just time management and communication say my predicament most of my clients are in college like me so we're in the same boat take the same classes so we can talk about how its variances of our people I learn a lot of “T” at this table it's like a counseling session I would say that what makes me the most unique I paid to take a lashing class and in this class I'm learning how to lash and I'm all about the eyelash it's all about the eye area in general and then I had to go home with a practice model practice space and I had to practice lashing on it then I had to come back with a real model and black someone in front of them and then if I do that efficiently and I'm thinking in my certificate and I did I feel like people put on get their lashes done the same reason we put on cute clothes are we got makeup done it makes you feel better about yourself feel more confident and more sure about yourself in you but you're saying how you act it's totally different from when you don't feel as cute and you're not as put together so I can be confident when someone leaves my table they wanna feel better about themselves 'when they laid down i think that's part of reason why i want so a lot main reason why I went to that just to see their faces and see how bigger and brighter your eyes are when they get up they're like oh it's cute you know they like you doing that for them here's what I do
